Unpredictability

A paper with the sign of question mark.

What if I told you that there is a natural expectation by you to read something related to uncertainty or unknown stuff in this blog. You have already predicted that it is going to talk about life’s unpredictability.

Our brain naturally tries to predict the next second even if it is practically impossible to know what is going to happen. It is because it tries to protect us from any dangers, or insecurities related to our past.

It is really hard to stop and control it, but if not done soon it can cause mental exhaustion. We get used to predicting the outcome and we start living in the future and we do it with using statistics from the past.

It can be a disaster for your personality and mental health. The time we take out to protect ourselves from the future is the time that was actually needed to invest in the present, we jumble everything up and call it a mess when it's just that we are scared to put it in place.

A simple solution to this would be to take note when the prediction starts, what is the first thought that comes and map it. Start writing down your fears and see if it is even valid to be scared. Because it's okay to be scared of the unknown, but not of something that you could easily handle, or something doesn't stand a chance to practically take place.

Start facing your past, no matter how hard it had been on you, it is still gone, it is still at a place that you won't ever visit. Ask yourself this basic question

if you think the past has been hard to you, then you know that you still grew through it whatever might come you still can still fight it, so whats there to be scared?

with every moment you spend on something that has less or no probability of happening you lose your present to the past.
